100 Years of Dental Hygiene

This year marks the 100 year anniversary of the opening of the first dental hygiene school in Bridgeport, Connecticut.  It all started with Dr. Alfred Fones who determined to improve oral health and prevent oral disease in his patients.  He trained his assistant to be what he called a dental hygienist and opened the first school for instruction in 1913.

And CONGRATULATIONS to Dr. Dave's assistant Hayley for being accepted into the Dental Hygiene program at Weber State University.
